There are 2 types of finishes we use, both of which are 100% food safe for contact. The first type of finish we use is a non-curing finish such as food grade mineral oil and the second type is a curing finish such as polyurethane, and epoxy resin, is and of itself also considered a curing type finish. The type of finish we use for tables is also a curing type finish and FDA food safe compliant.

Curing type finishes do not require additional application of the finish. Take care not to introduce any cleaning or polishing products to pieces that will come in direct contact with food. Tables and clocks can be maintained as you would any other furniture pieces
