Large and Oversize Wood Handle Boards
These large and oversize wood handle boards, will be the center of attention and make a great presentation or serving display. One of the frequently asked questions is can they be used as a cutting board also. The answer is yes, although I suggest you cut on another board and use this for display. Occasionally I will use epoxy resin to fill a small knot or void. The epoxy is totally food contact safe, but please avoid cutting directly on the epoxy, as it will scratch.. If you have been to one of my shows you know the pictures do not do these creations justice.

This incredibly rustic piece of oak, came from an old tree. This slab was cut from the main trunk right where a limb was projecting out.
Blue epoxy resin fill s a void just below the limb area.
